The Social Innovation Lab @ Lang Center in Swarthmore College provides students, faculty, staff, and community partners with support and room to explore social innovation solutions for global social impact. Founded by Dr. Denise Crossan, the Eugene M. Lang Visiting Professor for Issues of Social Change, the Social Innovation Lab hosts courses and programs that teach participants innovation skills such as:
- Human-centered design thinking
- Systems thinking and practice
- Strategic and project planning
- Social innovation/social entrepreneurship skills
The Social Innovation Lab also connects directly with faculty across the College to enrich engaged scholarship pursuits utilizing social innovation processes.
